THE SO CALLED ALLIANCE FOR FREEDOM & DEMOCRACY THE CURRENT DISASTER OF ETHIOPIA
I believe it is helpful to overview the general situation of anything before one commits one's emotions, zeal & self. When it comes to the saving of one's country it is nothing less than the committing of one's soul, flesh & bones.Continue>>

The possibility of a military intervention to support its allies in Somalia is dividing the EPRDF. July 23,2006
The Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF, governing coalition) is split over the idea of a military intervention in Somalia to support its allies of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG). The militia of the Islamist Courts Union (ICU) are preparing for military actions in the direction of Baidoa, the stronghold of the Somalian TFG and warlords who oppose the Islamists.  More

Kassahun Ayele's leaked dispatches

Kassahun Ayele's leaked dispatches

Diplomatic dispatches of ex-Ethiopian Ambassador to Washington Kassahun Ayele, leaked to Negat Radio, have proved the suspicions of many Ethiopians. The reports, letters and memos sent by Ato Kassahun from Washington to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs over a period of time clearly show that spying on Ethiopians opposed to dictatorship in Ethiopia is a major preoccupation of the regime. Wasting the poor taxpayer’s hard-earned money, it appears that Ethiopian embassies, used as the arms of the ruling oligarchy, are working against the interests of the very people they are meant to serve. The leaks reveal the fact that Ethiopian embassies are highly partisan even worse than Derg's control freak emissaries. We have decided to publish the letters and reports so that readers can judge for themselves what the regime is up to. (http://www.addisvoice.com/)
